Class Description:
Introduction to Muay Thai and kickboxing. An instructor will lead the students through the class, stressing the importance of building a solid foundation in Muay Thai and kickboxing. Proper stance, footwork, punches, kicks, elbows and basic defense will be the main focus of this class.
Required Gear:
We have gloves you can borrow for your first class but you will be required to purchase your own hand wraps and gloves to continue on with the classes.
Goals:
Teach students the necessary skills to move into the cardio class and/or technique class. If students have any questions once they move on from this class or would just like a refresher, they are always welcome to jump back into the beginners class.
UNLESS OTHERWISE SUGGESTED BY AN INSTRUCTOR, A MINIMUM OF 1 MONTH OF TRAINING IN THE BEGINNER CLASS IS REQUIRED BEFORE ATTENDING ANY OTHER CLASSES ON THE SCHEDULE.
